South Park 2

The boys from South Park are back in town in the follow-up to the original slot game from NetEnt. This time, Kenny, Cartman, Kyle, Stan, Mintberry Crunch, and Professor Chaos have returned in an epic battle of good versus evil in South Park Reel Chaos.

Just like the popular TV show, there's plenty of madcap humour and mayhem to enjoy, as well as the potential to reap win-after-win with an explosive line-up of bonus features.

NetEnt has based South Park Reel Chaos in the downtown district of a fictional village in Colorado. So, when you launch the game, you'll find yourself on a residential street at dusk looking at snow-topped mountains, a half-obscured moon and falling snowflakes.

Like every good superhero movie, there's a sinister soundtrack playing while you spin the reels, and you'll spot five character symbols which are made up of the five boys in costume. There are also five playing card symbols, a light bulb, and a symbol labelled "Bonus".
NetEnt has used twenty paylines and three rows in this five-reel slot, which will cost you between 20p and £100 per spin to play.  There's also a top jackpot of 650,000 coins to aim for.

Wild Symbol:

The wild symbol in the base game of South Park Reel Chaos is the Light Bulb and it can replace all symbols except the Mintberry Crunch Bonus.

Scatter Symbol:

The image of Mintberry Crunch flying through the air is the game's bonus/scatter symbol, and when it appears anywhere on the first, third and fifth reel simultaneously, you'll trigger the free spins bonus. NetEnt has taken this a step beyond a basic free spins feature by incorporating a series of fights against the superhero's archenemies. Each win that you create will cause your enemies' health to deteriorate but your health will also decline when you fail to land a winning combo. There are four foes to overcome, and each round increases the multiplier award by one.

Bonus Round:

In addition to the Mintberry Crunch Free Spins feature, the South Park Reel Chaos slot boasts four randomly triggered bonuses:
Kenny's Multiplier – as Professor Chaos and Kenny go head-to-head, you'll receive a multiplier of between x3 and x5 on your wins;
Cartman's Stacked Wilds – as Cartman tries his best to catch General Disarray, he creates stacked wilds as he runs around the reels;
Stan's Multiplying Respins – after any non-winning spin, Stan can trigger a re-spin on all five reels with increasing multipliers until a win is formed;
Kyle's Overlay Wilds – watch in awe as Kyle kicks ass with any villain symbols and turns them into additional wilds.

Our Verdict:

We're not sure that South Park Reel Chaos is better than the original South Park slot by NetEnt, but it's certainly different and extremely entertaining. So, if you're looking for a humorous game with the potential for big wins and multiple special features, head down to join the boys today!
